Umeå Teaterförening operates the theater Saga since the spring 2004 as a side project to our other activitys. The venue is leased out to other arrangers and producers of events i.e. music, plays, lectures, courses and international guest performances. The activity at the venue has increased steadily each year with numerous collaborations and non-profit organizations. Saga has given Umeå’s local cultural spirit a needed boost with plenty of opportunities for new events for theater plays, dance and music.
Unfortunately the theater will only be operative until the autumn of 2016 and then close down.
