As early as 1934…
Umeå Teaterförening was founded as one of the first theater associations in Sweden at that time. We are a part of Riksteatern, an idea based cultural organization with over 40,000 dedicated members. We arrange most of the theater and dance performances in Umeå, produces the magazine Rajden and operate the ticket office Biljettcentrum and the theater Sagateatern. We have more than 1 800 members and are the largest theater association in Sweden and we have the greatest amount of events and we also sell the greates amounts of tickets. Are we braging? Yes, but why shouldn’t we?
